CLYDESDALE MARE
Realitys Amazin' Grace FOR SALE! SOLD! Congratultions and Thank-you to Kathy Plaisted! Registered Clydesdale mare Eel River Seneca x Candy Di-Van 15.3 hh d.o.b. 7-7-99 "Gracie" is a gorgeous mare! She's smaller (why I purchased her) and built like a brick house and put together right! She can "pick them up" and move beautifully too! Gracie has very heavy feathering that starts at her knees, covers her hooves and lays on the ground! She was purchased to breed to our Gypsy Horse stallion, but after a long hard look at what we're doing, we have decided that we want to keep only horses in the 14 - 14.3 hand range. I can barely reach up from compression fractures in my spine so the taller horses are a challenge for me right now. Look at the bird on her rump in the right hand photo! This bird attached itself to Gracie...must have known she's a guardian! She's very good with her smaller pasture mates. She was broke to ride by her former owner, but we haven't pursued further training with her, as she was purchased as a broodmare. Gracie is a bit shy and requires a loving and patient hand. Produced a filly in '05. She "mothers" the younger horses. She wants a baby! UTD on Everything. Gracie has been vet checked in foal to RIO for an '09 foal! Gracie's photo courtesy of Carey Harper.
